600 g Beef Strips
(Sliced)
400 g Green Beans
(Ends chopped)
1 Onion
(Diced)
2 tbsp Peanut Oil
1 Fresh Red Chilli
(Chopped)
2 tbsp Fresh Coriander
1½ cup Basmati Rice
125 mL Soy Sauce
2 tsp White Sugar
80 mL Sherry
3 Garlic Cloves
(Crushed)
2 tsp Fresh Ginger
How do I make it?

For the marinade:

  1. Combine soy, sugar, sherry, garlic and ginger in a container.

For the beef:

  1. Cook rice according to packet instructions.
  2. Cover beef in marinade.
  3. Steam beans in boiling water for 4 minutes.
  4. Heating a grill over medium heat, sauteing onion for 4 minutes. Set aside.
  5. Cook meat with marinade on hot grill for 4 minutes.
  6. Add beans, onion and chilli quickly to grill heat through.

Serve beef on top of cooked rice with fresh coriander.
