800 g Firm Tofu
(Cubed)
1 tsp Five Spice
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cup Bean Sprouts
1 Cucumber
(Sliced)
1 Fresh Red Chilli
(Deseeded, sliced)
2 tbsp Fresh Basil
(Chopped)
2 tbsp Fresh Coriander
(Chopped)
1 tbsp Lime Juice
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 tbsp White Sugar
2 tbsp Fish Sauce
How do I make it?
For the tofu:
Heat oil over high in pan, add tofu and spice, cooking for 5 minutes
Remove and combine with bean sprouts, cucumber, chilli and herbs.
For the dressing:
Combine sesame seeds, sugar, lime juice and fish sauce and pour over salad.

This was nice and both my kids liked the tofu , a nice summertime meal.

This looks nice, except for the fish sauce. I was searching under vegetarian, and fish sauce is not vegetarian. Pescetarians eat fish not vegetarians.

I'm not normally a big tofu fan but this was delicious, the dressing was really good. I'd suggest a nice crisp lager to accompany it.
