Very good. I used Campbells Real Stock, vegetable and I think the herbs in that really set it off. I also was very naughty and added in some brie and blue brie, as I had some left from a cheese platter that was out the previous day for guests. The combination of flavours was awesome, and I have a portion left for lunch today! About 30 grams of each cheese stirred in at the end. Of course that completely changes the caloric content.........

This was tasty but not amazingly so. Cutting up 1Kg of mushrooms wasn't worth the effort (and rather expensive). Processing it would be a much better idea as tarsha8nz suggests. I don't think I'll bother making it again.

Absolutely wonderful! My sister and I loved this! It was so easy to make, and great for a cold night. The second time we made it we processed it and that was great too.

Absolutely yummy!! Especially on a cold night. Quick and easy.
Garlic is the cornerstone of great cooking. It brings out natural flavours and adds character to a dish.
To buy the best garlic:
> Garlic should feel firm.
> Look for garlic cloves that are plump with unbroken skin.
> Avoid garlic that is sprouting.
To store your garlic in the best conditions:
> Garlic can keep from a couple of weeks to a couple of months depending on storage.
> For best results store in a loosely covered container in a cool dark place.
> Breaking the head will dramatically reduce garlic shelf life.
> Never store garlic in oil at room temperature – it can cause a poisonous reaction.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Processed from ripened olives, the extra virgin oil type is taken from the first press and does not have as pungent flavours as straight olive oil.
Tomato Paste
A triple concentrated tomato puree used in small amounts with meat, in soups and to enhance the flavour of a dish.
Parsley
Commonly used as a herb to enhance flavours of sauces and stews, parsley is also a great added crunch to salads in whole sprigs.
