    The Meal Basket is a unique tool that you can add meals to and in turn create your all-in-one shopping list.     To add a meal to your cookbook simply click the "Add to Cookbook" link in your Meal Toolbox (the notepad on the right-hand side of the screen) when you're logged in!

    The Shopping List is a super smart application that combines all of the ingredients for the meals in your Meal Basket into one handy list. It also provides you with local specials and deals.

    Just click "Shop" at the bottom of your Meal Basket on your notepad.

  13. What can I do on this page?

    You can view all the nitty gritty details about a meal idea including ingredients, instructions, nutritional information, time, comments and ratings and information on how to buy all the things you'll need!

    You can also use your Meal Toolbox (the notepad on the right-hand side of the screen) to save the meal to your cookbook, add it your Meal Basket, SMS the ingredient list to a mobile phone, print a hard copy or share it with a friend or even the entire world!

  14. What can I do on this page?

    This page allows you to customise your nutritional profile.

    You can update personal health and wellbeing requirements to make sure you eat right and keep yourself in super condition. Tell us about your allergies, dislikes and preferences and we'll make sure our meal recommendations meet your tastes!

  15. What can I do on this page?

    This page is your personal cookdinner profile. It allows you to customise information you receive (by SMS and email) as well as changing your contact details and location. If you provide us with your country and postcode we can even show you where to find specials and discounts as well as locating your nearest stores for fresh, tasty produce!

  16. What can I do on this page?

    This is your super shopping list, it shows you everything you need in order to cook the meals in your Meal Basket. It also provides hints as to where you can find specials and discounts on certain ingredients (look for the little "sale" tag next to an item).

    If you already have the ingredient in your fridge or pantry just click the checkbox next to it and we'll remove it from the list. Make a mistake? Just click the "Show All" button at the top of the page to bring them back.

    You can also add your own entries to this list by entering them at the top of the page and clicking "Add". This makes it super simple to build a complete, all-you-need shopping list in one place.

    Once you're done, print off the list to take to the supermarket or better yet... SMS it to the person on their way home to you - have them pick up the shopping!

  17. What can I do on this page?

    This page is the master access point for cookdinner, think of it as the door to a kitchen wonderland. You can view meal suggestions in two "views" - images in the "Meal Gallery" or meal names in the "Meal List".

    Want to store a meal or view your favourites? Once you're logged in simply click the "Cookbook" link at the top of the page.

    Your notepad (on the right-hand side of the screen) allows you to view all the latest news as well as your Meal Basket (the list of meals you'd like to cook - go on - drag and drop a meal image into the basket to try! Or just click "Add to List" under the big meal image... Or click the checkbox next to a meal name in the Meal List - there's lots of ways to start cooking!)

    From this page you can also search for meals that match your specific needs, just click the "Search" button to begin.

    Finally, you can also check your membership details and set up your personal nutritional preferences by clicking the "My Account" link at the top of the page.

  18. How do "Preferences" work?

    Preferences allow you to add meal types that you really like. This means we'll make sure you get a great selection of them in the Meal Gallery and Meal List by default. For example, if you love Low GI foods, specify that here and we'll send a bunch your way!

  19. How do "Dislikes" work?

    Dislikes are another smart tool to remove meal ideas that contain ingredients you don't fancy! Don't like Brussels sprouts? Just add them to your dislikes and we won't cook them up for you!

  20. How do "Allergies" work?

    Allergies is a smart exclusion tool. If you are allergic to something (say dairy), there's a good chance you don't want to see meal ideas that are going to make you feel crook.

    Specify your allergies and we'll exclude meal ideas that may trigger them from our recommendations, saving you the hassle of sorting through the good and the bad.

  21. What does the "Preferred Shopping Store" do?

    This is a brilliant little feature that allows us to display accurate and relevant specials and discounts to you. Like one retailer or store better than another? Score deals there by telling us where you want to shop!

  22. What does the "Default Serving Size" do?

    This is a nifty tool that allows you to set a standard serving size when you view meals and add them to your Meal Basket. We recommend that you set it to the number of people you normally cook for. That way, you can make your shopping and cooking even quicker - just drag and drop meals into your Meal Basket!

  23. How do you keep my information private?

    At cookdinner we take your privacy incredibly seriously. All user details are kept in a locked filing cabinet protected by a tiger and seventeen armed guards with machine guns. Well, okay, maybe that's a fib. But honestly, we understand how important your privacy and personal details are and we take the utmost care to ensure they remain secure. We don't share your information with anybody and we won't send you email unless you've explicitly opted-in using your account preferences. To learn more about our Privacy Policy click the "Privacy" link at the bottom of any page.

  24. Why do you ask for all of this information? What if I don't provide it?

    If you tell us a little bit about your preferences, nutritional and otherwise, we'll be able to tailor meal suggestions to your personal taste. When you're logged in, click the "My Account" button at the top of the page to provide us with some details and your cookdinner experience will instantly match your personal tastes!

    The more we know about you, the better experience we can provide.

  25. I'm cooking for a certain number of people, can I change the quantities in my shopping list?

    Of course! We don't want you wasting ingredients, so only buy what you need. If you're cooking a special meal on a certain night, simply select the number of people you're cooking for in your Meal Basket. Click "Basket" in the notepad on the right-hand side of the screen and adjust the serving size - the ingredients on your shopping list will automatically update.

  26. How do I print my shopping list?

    Want to take your list shopping with you? Simply click the "Print List" button in the Shopping List Toolbox (the notepad on the right-hand side of the page) to print out your list.

  27. How do I send my shopping list to my mobile phone?

    If you're a cookdinner member (sign up, it's free!) you can SMS all the ingredients on your shopping list to your mobile phone for free. Simply click the "SMS Ingredients" link in the Shopping List Toolbox (the notepad on the right-hand side of the screen) to get started.

  28. How can I find my nearest supermarket?

    cookdinner knows where hundreds of fresh food stores are across the world. If you've provided us with your postcode (do it now! click the "My Account" link at the top of the page when you're signed in) then we can show you exactly where to find fresh and healthy ingredients to cook your meals. If you're the owner of a fresh food store and think other cookdinner members would like to know about it simply email the details to letscook@cookdinner.com, or contact us using the "Contact" link and we'll add you in.

  29. What does the little "Sale" tag mean?

    There's lots of specials at cookdinner! We track specials across thousands of stores to make sure you know where to get the best deals. If there is a "Sale" tag next to an ingredient it means that ingredient is on special. Click on the tag to find out more and save money!

  30. I need extra stuff, can I add it to my list?

    Yep! If you have additional ingredients or grocery items that you want to remember when you hit the shop just type it in the "Add Item" field at the top of the shopping list, then click "Add". If you want to remove it simply click the checkbox next to the item to remove it.

  31. I already have an ingredient on the list, can I remove it?

    Sure thing, we don't want you buying stuff you don't need! If you already have an ingredient on the list in your fridge or cupboard simply click the checkbox next to the ingredient name to remove it from your list. If you make a mistake you can add the ingredient back by clicking the "Show All" button at the top of your shopping list.

  32. Can I sort the "Meal List"?

    Yes you can. The Meal List is an intuitive way to browse meals with a bit more detail than the Meal Gallery. You can sort the meals in the Meal List by clicking on the column name ("Meal Name", "Ingredients", "Time" etc) at the top of the Meal List to make it easier to find exactly the meal you're hankering for.

  33. What do those little arrows at the bottom of the screen do?

    We have lots of tasty meal ideas at cookdinner, far too many to fit on a single page. Whether you're in Meal Gallery or Meal List view, you can scroll through multiple pages of meal ideas by clicking the forward and back arrows at the bottom or side of the screen.

  34. What's the difference between the "Meal Gallery" and "Meal List"?

    The Meal Gallery is a quick and easy way to view meal ideas from our beautiful, inspiring image gallery. You can always switch to Meal Gallery view by clicking "Meal Gallery" at the top of the page. There are lots of meals to browse through, simply click the arrows at the bottom of the gallery to scroll through multiple pages.

    The Meal List provides a little more detail about each meal and allows you to order the list by meal name, number of ingredients and time to cook. You can switch to the Meal List view by clicking "Meal List" at the top of the page.

  35. I have specific nutritional requirements, can cookdinner help?

    Yes! At cookdinner we don't want you wading through countless meals you can't or don't want to eat. When you sign up as a member (it's free!) just tell us a little about your Nutritional Preferences (click the "My Account" link at the top of the page after you've signed in) and we'll make sure we don't display meals that don't suit your unique taste.

  36. I'm allergic to certain ingredients, is there any way I can skip them?

    Yes! At cookdinner we don't want you wading through countless meals you can't or don't want to eat. When you sign up as a member (it's free!) just tell us a little about your Nutritional Preferences (click the "My Account" link at the top of the page after you've signed in) and we'll make sure we don't display meals that don't suit your unique taste.

  37. I like the look of that meal! How do I get more information?

    To view more details about any meal you see simply click on its image or name and you'll be magically transported to the detailed meal view where you can find the instructions, ingredients and tips on how to cook the meal in a snap.

  38. How do I search for meals?

    cookdinner automatically displays a beautiful gallery or list of meal ideas tailored to your personal tastes. If you're after something specific, perhaps to take advantage of something in your fridge or pantry or you simply feel like a certain meal type today, just click the "Search" button at the top of the Meal Gallery or List to start a search.

  39. Is there an issue with my computer loading when I login?

    Things looking a little funny? We try as hard as possible to ensure cookdinner is accessible and user-friendly for all our members but with the myriad of web browsers and mobile devices out there we sometimes miss something.

    If cookdinner isn't working as expected for you, let us know by clicking the "Contact" link at the bottom of any page or emailing us at helpme@cookdinner.com. We'll check it out and get back to you as soon as possible.

    To get cracking, simply sign up as a member (it's free!), tell us a little bit about your likes, dislikes and any allergies and we'll provide a smorgasbord of delicious meal options for you to choose from. 

    Add the meals you like to your Meal Basket by selecting them or intuitively dragging and dropping them onto your basket from the Meal Gallery. Make any last minute adjustment, find a discount at your local supermarket and then click "Shop" in your Meal Basket for a list of every ingredient you'll need for instant kitchen success!

  44. How do I remove a meal from my basket?

    Not feeling as hungry as you originally thought? Or maybe you just found something that looked even tastier.

    You can remove any meal from your Meal Basket by clicking the "X" link next to the meal name in your Meal Basket (click "Basket" in the notepad on the right-hand side of each page).

  45. What do those little arrows at the bottom of the meal picture do?

    They speed up the cooking process! Just kidding. You can use the arrows underneath the meal picture to view each stage of preparation and cooking.

    Don't know how brown that meat should be? Just scroll through and follow the visual hints for an instant kitchen success.

  46. I'm cooking for a certain number of people, can I change the serving size for a meal?

    Dinner events come in different shapes and sizes. No matter whether you're a kitchen-whiz single or feeding a family you can tailor each meal to suit the number of people you're cooking for.

    Click the "Serves" dropdown box when viewing a meal or in your Meal Basket to change the number of servings. We'll automatically adjust the quantity of required ingredients for you!

  47. Can I print this meal for future reference?

    Sure thing. If you want to store a hard copy of a meal for future reference simply click the "Print Meal" button in your Meal Toolbox (the notepad on the right-hand side of each meal page).

  48. Can I send the ingredients for this meal to my mobile phone?

    Yes! cookdinner is fully integrated with mobile devices. Registered users (sign up, it's free!) can SMS the ingredients for a meal, or their entire shopping list, to their mobile phone for free.

    Simply click the "SMS Ingredients" link in the Meal Toolbox (the notepad on the right-hand side of each meal page).

  49. I want someone to cook this for me! How can I share it with a friend?

    At cookdinner we believe that good meals should be shared (and wouldn't it be nice if someone special cooked dinner for you tonight?)

    To share a meal idea with a friend simply click the "Share Meal" button in your Meal Toolbox (the notepad on the right-hand side of each meal page). From here you can email the meal to a friend or share it on your favourite social networking site.

  50. How can I tell everyone what I thought about this meal?

    We only keep the best, most proven meals on cookdinner. Tell us (and the world!) what you thought about a certain meal by clicking the "Reviews" link at the top of a meal page. You can read other people's comments, rate the meal and share your thoughts.

  51. What does the "How to Buy" link do?

    The "How to Buy" section of each recipe tells you how to source and prepare the freshest, healthiest ingredients for your meal to make it taste fantastic. Use this section to learn more about each ingredient in the meal.

  52. I want to know about a certain ingredient, how can I find more information?

    At cookdinner we pride ourselves in providing the best information about how to source and prepare the freshest and healthiest ingredients for your meals. To find out more about the ingredients in a recipe simply click the "How to Buy" link at the top of each recipe page.

  53. I have a recipe to share with others, how can I get it on cookdinner?

    If you have a recipe you'd like to see on cookdinner or share with others, simply email the details to us at letscook@cookdinner.com, we'll cook it and then add it in!

  54. Can I store my own recipes on cookdinner?

    We're busy working on this feature as you read this. Soon you'll be able to add your own custom recipes to cookdinner, edit ingredients and keep your own notes.
